Separation anxiety - how to raise a secure child

We have all heard of babies or toddlers who are very sensitive about who cares for them, who picks them up and even who is in the room with them. It often still comes as a shock when your own baby starts to want you every minute of every day, and shows signs of distress as soon as you disappear out of sight, particularly if they were happy being entertained and cared for by daddy or other trusted caregivers previously.
